Olive Baby Bead Baetis Nymph

This Olive Baby Bead Baetis nymph is a must-have fly when targeting fish in slow-flowing or crystal-clear water when fish are proving to be selective or spooky. The fly is small and light, with two tiny tungsten beads hidden under the dubbing, so it lands gently and sinks slowly, offering a natural presentation. This fly fishes very well through autumn when there are small mayfly hatching on many of our rivers.

More fly information...

The fly can be fished as a single nymph, or below a dry. It is extremely good at catching rising fish when you can’t get them to eat a dry fly.
We recommend fishing this fly on 5x tippet or lighter to reduce drag and improve the quality of the drift.
This fly is tied on a barbless dry hook.
