Black Parachute

The Black Parachute is an incredibly versatile dry fly pattern that works well on lakes and rivers. This fly most closely resembles black mayfly spinners. However, it can also be taken for various insects, including midge, small stoneflies and ants. It is an excellent starting fly when turning up to a new fishery if you are unsure what to tie on because it will consistently catch fish.
