Morsie created: Canberra Casting

Fly casting with International Federation of Fly Fishers Master Fly Casting Instructor Peter Morse - 45 years of fly fishing experience in fresh and saltwater and 25 years teaching fly fishing and fly casting.
Sage and RIO ambassador.

Fly-fishing is defined by fly casting, by the method we use to get the fly to the fish. The better the caster we can become, the more fish we’ll catch

Each day begins at 8-00 am and ends at 4-00pm.
The cost is $150 for the day. Your spot must be secured with a $50 deposit.
There will be a maximum of 10 participants per day.
Participants should bring a hat and sunnies, appropriate clothing for the day, water and their lunch. They should also bring along their fly tackle but for those who might not have one there will also be Sage rods available, from monster 2 handers to twigs, or for who wish to try just something different. I’ll also have a range of different fly lines of different styles for participants to try out on their own rods.
Instruction is for any level of skill, beginners will learn the basics of good fly casting technique, how to rig a leader but most importantly how to cast, how to work a fly and how to use a fly rod on a fish.
More advanced casters will still cover the basics essential fundamentals of good casting. They’ll learn techniques for dealing with the wind, throwing larger heavier flies and also how to improve their distance casting.

Bookings are essential
