taupofish created: WHAT IS THIS FLY PLS

Hi - can anyone identify this fly and let me know whether they are made commercially or home grown - came across a couple in an old box of flies, look interesting, something like a mudeye pattern?

Looks like a moth eaten Shiralee (or copy there of), one of Rick Keam's mudeye patterns

Impossible to get, hard to find ... rocking horse poo territory :)

Here's a photo I took from a framed display of Rick's flies :)

Pretty sure it is a Matilda rather than a Shiralee but one of the best mudeye imitations around. I have never tied them with the lead underbody as I like them to touch the surface on retrieve. The body is soft tanned kangaroo skin.

Another variation on the same outline, they must be older flies as I have never seen them - appreciate your reply cheers
