MatthewParticipantI was tweaking a very slow-float mudeye pattern for winter and spring bass in the lakes, but lockdown has me fast-forwarding to a summer cicada pattern that showed promise last season. It sits very low in the water (hence the sight-post) with good hook exposure. On the strip it dives an inch or two, but most success came with small twitches after a long pause. Fingers crossed for a decent hatch.

woody-woodParticipantGreat gesture Jeff.
You had better have a couple for me at the Gathering.
I was going to poach a couple of those neon green post emergers from Stephen but he must have cottoned on and pulled out of the Gathering.
With Chief not attending this year, someone has got to scam a few flies 😁

asmeParticipantTwo extremes, a #18 Red Spinner for Boris to try in Tassie and a #6 Raw Prawn for Sydney Harbour and a trip to Forster.
Mike.

Phoenix BirdParticipantCorixia or Water Boatman, even though they are a major food source for trout, are often overlooked by flyfishers. Staying close to cover,Corixia are air breathers and are continually popping up to the surface, trapping air with their bodies and then shooting back down to the bottom.Let the fly settle then lift so that it rises back to the surface
