    <u>On River Trout Spey Weekend</u>

    <u>When;</u>.  23-25th April and 30th April &1-2 May- starting Friday midday, finishing Sunday 2pm.

    Days will begin at 8-30am and finish at 4pm.

    Numbers are restricted to 4.

    We’ll cover the fundamentals of Trout Spey using light weight 2 handed rods or if you prefer, single handed rods. I’ll have a selection of rods and lines available. You are of course very welcome to bring your own 2 handers and single hand rods.

    Using 2 handed rods is quite different from single-handed rods. There’s a lot to learn and we plan to cover sufficient of the essential nuts and bolts to get you fishing.

    Subjects covered will be;

    *The tackle – why 2 hands?

    *The fly lines and tips – simplifying a complicated business.

    *Casting – the 4 casts, why, when, and how.

    *Flies and leaders – rigging and fishing single, double, and triple rigs, steamers, nymphs, wets.

    *Fishing – the Swing is the Thing………..

    Accommodation, food, and booze at your own cost. We will be staying at the Khancoban camping ground, an excellent facility.

    You WILL need waders & boots – and a wading staff is highly recommended.

    <u>Contact me for more info, or to reserve your place. </u>
