Soft Hackles can be underestimated and not well understood. In this presentation we will be covering what Soft Hackles are all about, materials and simple tips for tying them and how best to fish them. For those interested in tying along, there are no particular materials needed, other than a suitable feather (Hen or game bird hackle) and standard thread or silk.

- Types of bodies (hair dubbings, feather dubbings and other alternatives)
- Discussion on better ways to fish soft hackles
