Very sad and sudden, only got an email from him this time last week. Also a happy customer of his store for a few bits and pieces. RIP

Very sad news indeed…..while I did not have the good fortune to know John personally, I was a regular customer of his on line shop. RIP John.

Very sorry to hear of the news. John was a generous man, he gladly contributed gear to Ballarat Grammar students for their fly fishing forays.

    Taken too soon…….. RIP John.

So sad, condolences to John’s family from myself and Pixie. Without him we would not have been introduced to the "Fine art of the long wand". Spent a wonderful day at the bowling club where he ran his course. Fine man, will be sadly missed.

It sadden me to hear this news. I bought my first decent fly reel off John, and over time he has freely given me some great advice. The reel will always remind me off his passion and legacy to the art of fly fishing.

    With respect,

    rik
