Question for Moderator

When i initially sign in  to forum ,there frequently appears  on the prior days date  “reply from Moderator”  ( can be one or two items) and when i tab on these nothing appears  apart from “Error page” . What is this ???

I get these as well and assume that they are the moderator deleting some spam.

Not a lot of spam gets deleted by moderators as the system generally blocks it. I’m not seeing anything you guys are reporting which is why I would like to see a screenshot.

Hi Moderatour….screenshot showing this issue is attached…

The one to check is  headed  Reply to TGIF27/10 and when tabbing on this page then diverts  to another page Error 404.

There can often be quite a few of these apparent when signing in , and basically they are a waste of space.

Thanks very much for that. They are links to threads that the mod team use to communicate on a regular basis. They are only accessible by moderators etc & I am not sure why they are appearing in your Recent Posts list. I have queried the tech team on the issue.

Moderators… Thank you, upon signing in now those pesky annoyances no longer remain on screen  to conflict with active topics.. Thank you for cleaning that up

Hi to the Moderator team…  the issue as above has /is repeating itself  where reply to moderator topics which are not accessible from patrons, are again appearing on  screen upon sign in.

They appeared to dissappear after the initial enquiry , but are back again, on the users screens, screenshot is attached, can these be hidden from user screens please as they do not represent any topic of interest to users.

Has the issue been rectified? As mods & tech support have permission to see these threads, we have no way of knowing.

Thanks Moderator 3…..May i then present that if these threads are of no value whatsoever to any of  the users of this  Flylife site, then such threads simply should not appear  on recent topic lists .

I appreciate that moderators  cannot fix this ,but the  support team should be able to do so, this situation was not apparent on the original  flylife site   and this circumstance has never been evidenced  by myself  on any other site that ive visited.

Can you please advise as to what your tech departments stance is, on fixing this .

I was informed yesterday that they have tweaked the system and that they are no longer visible (see my request for feedback above). Is that not the case?
