I’m off to Ireland in the next few weeks.

There is a chance that I will be able to sneak off for a few hours for a ‘quick cast’. I would welcome any advice on guides or locations, etc etc etc

Many thanks Kerryboy, I’ll take you up on that offer.

The ‘better half’ has decided we are spending most of our time around the Dingle Peninsular area but I’m thinking that when we head back to Dublin I’ll head south and ‘accidentally’ discover some fishing.

I grew up 10 km away from Dingle.

    I can recommend Owenmore river.

Contact Frank Mansell, probably cost €30 for a day fishing for Salmon and sea trout. You will need to be reasonably fit as the walk can be hard especially if it has been raining.

l am pretty sure Frank will guide aswell if you want to go that option. This river is located 20 min from Dingle over the Connor pass in the village of Cloghane.

I also regularly fished lough Curran again for Salmon and sea trout, look up Neil or Tom o Sullivan again Salmon and sea trout.

I have heaps more info so feel free to call me on 0408966553
