BlowflyParticipantHey guys,
Found myself on a last minute road trip to drop off my nieces car. Managed to grab my Mystic 8wt and Wulff lostip but as to flies and where to go I’m clueless.
Any suggestions or clues will be appreciated,Tight lines

4weightfanaticParticipantGood old Clousers in size #4-1/0 chartreuse/white, olive/white, all white – for flathead, trevally (GT’s, Bigeye, Diamond ), small bass Vampire style flies (black/purple, chatreuse/black),Crazy Charlies and Gotchas -tan/white,pink,,Shrimp flies should get you onto some bream. Walk the banks of the lower river around Woods Bays (access via Hastings street) , fish around the Munna and Sheraton bridges. Hire a tinny or kayak and there’s heaps of places to fish like the Frying Pan on the inside north river mouth. Flathead around the river mouth at the moment but the tide rips through there so pick your times. Cheers Pat.
