Hmmmm ….maybe,but as I understand it,spey casting requires water loading which can instantly frighten every fish off a flat and many other places.My advice is to stay with conventional single handed casting, and join the Australian Salt Water Fly Fishing Forum for advice from experienced fly fishers who are only too willing to share their knowledge.You can also ask for pre-loved equipment that will serve you well as an introduction to this aspect of the sport.
