Magazine Specifications

All advertisements are printed in full colour and placed in digital magazine.

FlyLife is printed A4 size (210mm wide x 297mm deep with a 3mm bleed all around)
CMYK Colour Process only. Only full page and DPS artwork require bleed.

We prefer ads supplied by email, Dropbox or on CD in one of the following file formats:

Acrobat PDF Files – For best results use Acrobat Distiller to create PDF files conforming
to PDF/X-1a standard. (If creating the PDF direct from InDesign use PDF/X-1a Preset.).

Use Fogra 39 Coated colour profile to ensure accurate colour reproduction
and C60/M20/Y20/K100 for Rich Black.

Specifically be aware that:

•  All images, logos etc must be 300dpi and CMYK

•  All colour must be CMYK as RGB may not reproduce accurately. Pantone colours are not permissable

•  All fonts must be embedded (i.e. they must be open on your computer when the PDF is created)

•  Embedded EPS files can potentially cause problems because they may call on fonts or images
that may need to be supplied separately

Photoshop Files – All images and graphics (in CMYK) should be saved as TIFF files, flattened and sent uncompressed at a resolution of 300 dpi. Be aware that small type sizes lose their sharpness once converted to an image.

Note:
• We do not accept Word/Publisher/Corel/PowerPoint/Pages files

• Please supply a colour proof of the advertisement otherwise we do not accept
responsibility for the finished result
